Last Post of the Year

Good morning my fabulous friends!

It's hard to believe the school year is already over. I wish we could have all spent the last few months together, but I am grateful that we could still talk to one another online and persevere through this with each other! I hope that the sunshine and summer activities bring you positivity and happiness during your summer holiday's.

Here are some of my favourite memories from this year!

Meeting each other in September!

Reading together!

Terry Fox Run!

Making Sculptures

Community Walks

Leighton Art Center

I really enjoyed teaching and spending time with each and every one of you this school year! Enjoy your summer with your friends and family.

🌟 Magnificent Muggles 🌟

Good morning radiant rainbows!

I had so much fun during Harry Potter week. That special project we worked on looks great and I'm sure it will make someone very happy this weekend.

Here is some great work from this week!

On Sunday Jun
e 21, it is National Indigenous People's Day. Take time to show your appreciation for their unique and special culture. You could read a book with your family (like one listed below) and have a conversation about what you learned about their culture. You could also go on a nature walk and find a lovely place to sit and appreciate all the beauty around you. This would be a great opportunity to take time for self reflection and gratitude as well. We are so lucky to live in a country with so much diversity, and opportunities to learn and grow our appreciation for all of the different cultures that make up Canada's identity.
