Hello my fantastic friends!
It was such a cozy week, I hope you enjoyed our Google Meet this week. The grade 1/2 teachers decided early in the week that we should change it up and do something fun! Don't forget to send me any pictures that your parents may have taken of you during comfy/cozy week. They might even make the year book!!
Here is some awesome work from this week:
Weekly spelling sentences:
I am going for a walk and then I will go to the mall and ask mom to buy me a brown teddy bear then ill go home and put it on my bed and hug it at night.

Enjoy your sunny weekend! π

Aloha!
Well, we have officially completed our 8th week of online learning! You (and your families) all deserve a big round of applause and lots of air high fives. It has been great to see all the "waves" you are persevering during this time and showing how resilient you are. You are all rocking it!
This week, I was as happy as a clam during our beach themed week, even if we didn't quite have the sunny beach weather. It was great to see all of the hard work you have put into your time capsules so far and hear about all of your wonderful ideas!
Here is some fabulous work that was submitted this week:
Spelling Words Sentence:
"I went underground to sleep. My sister was giving me money but my parents said stop. I was going to play flag football. So I started playing catch in the basement." - Addison
Math - Pattern Gardens:
Science- Sink or Float
*I will wait to post any pictures of the time capsules until after you have had more time to work on them.

π Everyone is Great in Room Eight! π
Hello friends!
I had so much fun during Jersey Week with all of you! I think Room 8 deserves a special jersey, we are my favourite team! π
I hope you all enjoyed your learning tasks this week. I was really impressed to see and hear about your designs for your geometric dream homes. You are all doing a great job of using the checklist to support your planning and drawing your shapes neatly. I can't wait to see all the finished products. I have also been entertained and inspired by your writing this week. The pieces of writing that have been submitted so far are very creative stories. Well done everyone!
