Thank you to everyone who came out for interviews last week. It was so wonderful to share your child's learning and celebrate all of their success this Fall.
This week in social studies, we are finishing our family trees. Next, we will be researching the flags from the countries of our heritage. Can you please have a conversation with your child about their background so that they are prepared to search their country's flag. Some may have more than one flag. For example, my dad is Irish and my mom is Japanese so I would research those two flags.
Reminders:
-Scholastic book order is due this Thursday November 28.
Spelling List
Grade 1-look, up, do, very, her, at, some, all, so, there
Grade 2- at, cat, sat, fat, bat, splat, chat, flat, scat, brat
*As an extra challenge for the spelling test, I will change the vowel sound for some of these words. (ex. sit, bet, cut)
