Hello families,
As stated in the previous messenger, I will be posting optional work on our Blog weekly! With Easter weekend approaching, here are a couple of seasonal activities.
Peeps are a sweet delicious treat that people of all ages love to eat. Have you ever wondered how these cute little chicks are made? Watch the video below to find out.

Literacy (listening, reading, writing)
1.) a.) Watch the Video about how Peeps are made
b.) Write five to ten Did You Know ...? facts you learned from watching the video.
For example:
Did you know that Peeps come in many different flavours like lemon lime, sour cherry and there are even mystery flavours?
Numeracy (addition)
2.) Choose one of the photos below and calculate how many eggs or Peeps are in the picture. Don't forget to communicate your mathematical thinking on paper. In other words show the strategies you used (drawing a picture, making groups of 10, tally marks, skip counting by 2s, 5s or 10s) to figure out the total number. Do not just write the number sentence with the answer.
Option 1.
Option 2.
Body Break
3.) Just Dance Kids - The Chicken Dance
