This week, we had our Terry Fox run! We were so lucky to have amazing weather for it. Capitol Hill used popsicle sticks to keep track of our laps. As a school, we would've helped Terry run from Thunder Bay to Medicine Hat. Everyone was very generous in our class. Our goal was to raise $40. We ended up raising $129.05!!! We will hear how much the whole school raised next week. We are so proud of the generosity in our classroom and we would like to send a huge thank you to all of our families for being so supportive of this great cause!
Before our run, we watched an inspirational video about Terry Fox. We wrote about how he is a hero.
In science, we have been learning about transparent, translucent and opaque objects! We have used light tables, flashlights, paint and have built sculptures to explore these different objects. Please ask me to show you things that are transparent, translucent and opaque.
Have a great weekend!
